Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Last Updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy is issued by IDX LLC ("IDX Mean," "we," "us," or "our") and applies to all applications, websites, and services we operate, including YTC (the "App"), together with any other apps or services we may launch in the future (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
IDX LLC is a limited liability company. This policy applies to all Services operated by IDX LLC, currently consisting of:
- YTC — a creator monetization and content platform
As we launch additional apps under IDX LLC, this same Privacy Policy will govern them unless a separate app-specific addendum is published and linked from within that app.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: email address, username, display name, password (handled via our authentication provider), profile photo/avatar, bio
- Content: posts, comments, videos, images, mentions/tags, and other content you create or upload within the App
- Payment and payout information: when you connect a payout account, this is collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe, via Stripe Connect). IDX LLC does not directly collect or store your full card, bank account, or government ID numbers — these are held by Stripe under its own privacy policy
- Communications: messages you send through in-app support, feedback forms, or the Creator Email Hub (if applicable)
- Optional AI features: if you choose to enable AI-powered comment analysis or similar features that require a user-supplied API key (e.g., a third-party AI provider key), that key and the associated content you submit through the feature are sent to the applicable third-party AI provider under its own terms. We do not store your third-party API key on our servers beyond what is required to operate the feature you enabled, and never share it with other users.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, IP address, general location (derived from IP), and in-app interactions (e.g., views, likes, follows)
- Analytics data: aggregated usage patterns collected through our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) to understand feature usage and improve the Services
2.3 Information from others
- If another user mentions/tags you, adds you to content, or reports your content, we process the information involved in that interaction (e.g., the mention itself, the report details) as part of operating the Services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Operate core features (posting, mentions, follows, messaging, payouts)
- Process creator payments and payouts through Stripe Connect
- Detect, prevent, and moderate content that violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, or app store policies (including automated screening using AI-based moderation tools)
- Send service-related communications (account, security, and policy notices)
- Respond to support requests
- Analyze and improve the Services
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Services you've signed up for
- Legitimate interests — to secure, moderate, and improve the Services
- Consent — for optional features (e.g., enabling third-party AI features with your own API key)
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with law
5. How We Share Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers/processors: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, analytics), Stripe (payment processing and payouts), and any AI moderation or AI feature providers strictly necessary to operate features you use
- Other users: information you choose to make public (username, profile, public posts, public mentions) is visible to other users and, depending on your settings, to the public
- Legal and safety reasons: when required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of IDX LLC, our users, or the public
- Business transfers: if IDX LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a comparable one
We do not permit these third parties to use your data for their own independent marketing purposes.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export a copy of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for optional features at any time
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@idxmean.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information (which we do not engage in). EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Certain content (e.g., disappearing stories, if applicable) is automatically deleted after a defined period. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended solely for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to create an account or use the Services, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that account and information. If you believe a user under 18 has accessed the Services or provided us with personal information, contact us at support@idxmean.com.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access-controlled infrastructure (Firebase security rules and authentication). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers (including Google Firebase and Stripe) may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification).
